Short hops in traffic don’t give the charging system enough time to replenish the battery.

  • Slow cranking, dim lights under load, or battery warning lights mean: test charging voltage and battery health.
  • Loose or corroded terminals mimic a bad battery.
  • In hot climates, realistic battery life is often a few years — note your last replacement date.
